"I was in the middle of going through a lot of beats that were not grabbin me at all...after a while I got bored and put the pen down to start watching some super clear bootleg DVDs...one flick had Samuel L Jackson talkin about how he is the Genesis and that no one can fuck wit him...I thought the concept was cool and so I started lookin for a beat that could match the Genesis vibe I was goin for...then I came across this joint that T-Mos sent me...when I heard it the beat made me want to emphasize clever word play along with solid punch lines...the song has a cocky tone but it's merited...thanks for all of the support...check it out"-K.
