It's official Team USA has won the gold!! After dismantling the other teams by 20+ points, they faced their biggest challenge Sunday morning against Spain. In a grueling, hard fought battle, they were able to defeat Spain by a final score of 118-107. Dwayne Wade led Team USA with 27 points, but it was Kobe Bryant's clutch play in the fourth quarter (13 points) that earned them the gold. The 2008 USA Basketball Team will forever be remembered for helping American basketball get back to the top.
