"Notorious," is a biographical movie based on the tragically short life of Christopher Wallace (aka The Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls). The movie follows Biggie, who is played by Brooklyn rapper Jamal Woolard aka Gravy, on his journey to hip-hop stardom. Other acts include Angela Bassett as his mother Voletta Wallace, Anthony Mackie as rival rap star Tupac Shakur, Derek Luke as Biggie's manager Sean "Puffy" Combs and others. It is directed by George Tillman Jr., and backed by producers Sean Combs & Voletta Wallace. The movie is accompanied with a soundtrack that includes new songs from Jay-Z & Jadakiss, as well as songs previously released from The Notorious B.I.G. I'm sure the majority of the hip-hop community is excited for the release of this movie, as I certainely am. I included a couple joints of the soundtrack for your listening pleasure.
